Term	Meaning
Action (app)	A declared operation in an app that runs a flow.
Adapter / connector	The built-in knowledge of how to talk to a kind of system.
Binding	A `{{ }}` placeholder that feeds data into an app component.
CDC	Change data capture: reacting to inserts, updates and deletes.
Cluster	A group of On-Prem Workers that share flows.
Connection	Your stored credentials for one account of a system.
Correlation key	The value that matches an event to a waiting run.
Edge	A line between two nodes; can carry a condition.
Environment	A separate copy of your work, such as Development or Production.
Fan-out	Running one step once per record, optionally in parallel.
Four-eyes	A rule that a different person must make a decision.
Idempotency key	A stable identifier that lets a system apply a repeated request only once.
Matt	The builder assistant in the app.
MCP	Model Context Protocol, used by AI clients to work with your workspace.
Node / step / shape	A unit of work on the canvas; shapes are the built-in node types.
On-Prem Worker	The program that runs flows inside your network.
Promotion	Moving a flow, app or agent to another environment.
RAG / Knowledge Search	Answering from your own documents via a vector database.
Record	One data item (a JSON object) moving through a flow.
Rhai	The sandboxed scripting language used in expressions and Code steps.
Run / execution	One execution of a flow.
SLA	The due time of a task.
Task	Work for a person, created when a flow waits for a form.
Trigger	What starts a flow.
