Frequently asked
questions.
Straight answers about the platform, connectors, agents, security, and getting started. Every answer here reflects what the product does today.
Platform & Product
What is Neblex Integration Fabric?
Neblex Integration Fabric is an integration and workflow automation platform: it connects your systems through a large connector library, runs deterministic multi-step flows and AI agents on one engine, and gives you full visibility into every run.
Does Neblex support AI agents natively?
Yes. Agents run on the same engine and governance as workflows, and you can build them three ways: describe the agent in plain English, use the visual builder, or connect your AI IDE through the Neblex MCP server.
How many connectors does Neblex support?
236 connectors today, and the directory on this site is generated from the live product catalog, so the number is real, not rounded. Any REST API can also become a typed connector from its OpenAPI spec, and new connectors are prioritized by customer demand.
Does Neblex support EDI and AS2 for B2B data exchange?
Yes. X12 and EDIFACT documents with signed, encrypted AS2 transport are built into the platform, alongside SFTP, FTP, SOAP, and OData for the rest of the B2B stack. It is a platform capability, not a paid add-on.
Does Neblex support human-in-the-loop workflows?
Yes, as a first-class step. Flows and agents can pause for approvals, route work through a task inbox with assignment and reassignment, and enforce SLA timers with escalation and business-hours awareness.
Can I monitor and debug workflow runs?
Yes. Every run has a full step-by-step history, and a failed run can be replayed from the exact step that broke instead of starting over. Bulk replay recovers a whole backlog after an outage.
Does Neblex support change-data-capture or ETL-style syncs?
Yes. Poll-based change detection picks up inserts, updates, and deletes at the source using cursors and content hashing, and bulk data moves through chunked, checkpointed batch processing that resumes cleanly after a failure.
Pricing & Plans
What does Neblex Integration Fabric cost?
Integration Fabric is in beta, and beta participants use the full platform free while we finalize pricing. Published pricing will be metered on runs, and we will notify every beta customer before any pricing takes effect.
Will features be locked behind higher tiers?
No. The pricing promises are already locked in: every capability is available on every plan, pricing scales with how much you run, failed runs never bill, and there are no per-task or per-connector fees.
Will you charge per user?
No. Unlimited users on every tier is one of the locked-in pricing promises. Integration is a team sport, and we never charge per seat.
What will count toward usage?
Successful workflow executions. A run only counts when it completes, and retrying from a failed step is free.
Security & Data Sovereignty
Where is Neblex hosted, and where is my data processed?
The Neblex control plane is hosted in the US. Flows can run on fully managed cloud workers, or on On-Prem Workers inside your own network: for those flows, the business data they handle is processed where it already lives. Cloud-run step data is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
Can Neblex reach systems inside our network without opening firewall holes?
Yes. On-Prem Workers connect outbound only over a certificate-bound connection, so internal databases, ERPs, and applications stay unexposed to the internet.
Does Neblex support SSO, SCIM, and 2FA?
Yes. SSO via SAML and OIDC, SCIM user provisioning into Neblex, and two-factor authentication including passkeys are all supported.
Is there an audit trail?
Yes, a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit trail records every action, human or automated, across flows, agents, and administration.
Can AI agents use our own models?
Yes. Agents run on the model you choose: any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including self-hosted models on your own infrastructure, or Anthropic. Knowledge retrieval indexes into your own database, not a third-party vector store.
Integrations & Architecture
What if a connector I need is missing?
Three paths: call the API directly with the generic REST / HTTP step, import the OpenAPI spec to generate a typed connector yourself, or request it. Connector requests are prioritized by real customer demand, with turnaround typically measured in days.
Can flows be built and operated programmatically?
Yes. The platform is API-first, and the Neblex MCP server with OAuth 2.1 lets AI-assisted tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor build, validate, and operate flows from your development environment.
How does Neblex compare to other integration platforms?
One engine covers what usually takes several tools: workflows, data sync, bulk processing, human approvals with forms and apps, EDI, and AI agents, all under one audit trail. See the comparison page for a capability-by-capability view.
Getting Started
How do I get started with Neblex Integration Fabric?
Join the beta. It is free for the duration of the beta, includes the full platform with no artificial limits, and comes with a direct line to the engineering team.
Do I need to talk to sales?
During the beta we onboard each team personally, so getting started begins with a short conversation, not a sales cycle. No credit card is required, and we will notify you before any pricing takes effect.
Can we bring a real workflow to evaluate?
Please do. The best evaluation is your own use case running against your own systems, and we will help you map it to the platform during onboarding.
Still have questions?
Talk to the team, or join the beta and see the answers running against your own systems.
