Good for
APIs without a connector
Role
Connects to a system
Find it in
Nodes › Logic

When to use it

  • The API you need has no built-in connector.
  • Results span several pages that should all be fetched.

Reach for something else when

Example

Fetch a customer from your own API with the customer id from the record, signed in with a saved connection.

  1. Webhook
  2. HTTP request
  3. Map fields

How it works

Settings
Method [GET]; URL with {name} placeholders filled from the record; Headers and Query parameters (JSON objects); Body (JSON); Body encoding: JSON [default], Form (x-www-form-urlencoded), Raw string, Multipart (file upload); Pagination (optional); Connection (a secret is sent as a Bearer token; an app connection applies that app's sign-in).
Pagination
{ "kind": "cursor", "cursor_param": "cursor", "next_path": "meta.next", "items_path": "items" }. Kinds: cursor, page, offset, link (Link header).
Output
The response records, across all pages.
Example
URL https://api.example.com/customers/{customer_id}, method GET.
