Control the run
Set value
Saves a named value that later steps in the same run can read.
Nodes › LogicOpen in Neblex
- Good for
- Values reused across the run
- Role
- Works on the records in a flow
- Find it in
- Nodes › Logic
When to use it
- A timestamp, batch id or setting should be captured once and reused in many steps.
Reach for something else when
Example
Store batch_started at the start of the run and stamp it on every record written later.
How it works
- Settings
- Value name; Value (fixed JSON or a mapping).
- Use
- Read it later with the Flow value mapper source, or in Rhai as
steps["$values"][0].name. The last write wins. - Example
- Store
batch_started=date_now()at the start, then stamp every record with it.
Add it to a flow
- Open the flow from Build › Workflows.
- Open Nodes and find Set value under Logic, or search for it. Click it or drag it onto the canvas.
- Drag from the previous step's output handle to its input, then open its settings with ✎ Edit.
- Run the flow and click the step to see the records it received and produced.
