When to use it
- Work should happen at set times: nightly syncs, hourly checks or a Monday report.
- Each run should pick up everything since the previous run.
- Times must follow a specific time zone or business days.
Reach for something else when
Example
Every weekday at 09:00 the flow totals yesterday's orders by region and emails the summary to the sales team.
How it works
- Every N minutes/hours/days (minimum one minute) or a Cron expression with a Timezone. Examples:
0 9 * * 1-5(09:00 weekdays),*/15 * * * *(every 15 minutes),0 0 1 * *(midnight on the 1st). - Missed schedule occurrences: Run the latest occurrence (default), Run every occurrence, or Skip the backlog, for times when the flow could not run (for example while disabled).
- Scheduled runs know their timing:
run.occurrence(in the schedule's time zone),run.occurrence_utc,run.previous_occurrenceandrun.time_zone. Use them for "since last run" queries.
Add it to a flow
- Open the flow from Build › Workflows.
- Open Nodes and find Schedule under Triggers. Drag it onto the canvas as the first step.
- Connect it to the next step and open its settings with ✎ Edit.
- Save and test with Run, then set the flow Active so it starts on its own.
