Passes on only the first records, up to the number you set.

When to use it

You need the top entries after sorting.
You want a small sample of a large source while building and testing.

Reach for something else when

Example

After sorting open deals by value, keep the first five for the daily briefing.

How it works

Settings: Maximum items to keep [10].
Tip: Sort first to get a "top 10".

Add it to a flow

Open the flow from Build › Workflows.
Open Nodes and find Keep first N under Logic, or search for it. Click it or drag it onto the canvas.
Drag from the previous step's output handle to its input, then open its settings with ✎ Edit.
Run the flow and click the step to see the records it received and produced.
