Example

Sum order amounts by region and store the totals in a data table that an app dashboard reads.

How it works

Settings
Group by field; Aggregate: Count [default], Sum, Average, Minimum, Maximum; Value field (not needed for Count); Into field [value].
Output
One record per group: {region: "EU", value: 1234.5, count: 17}. Numeric text counts as numbers.

Add it to a flow

  1. Open the flow from Build › Workflows.
  2. Open Nodes and find Group & summarize under Logic, or search for it. Click it or drag it onto the canvas.
  3. Drag from the previous step's output handle to its input, then open its settings with ✎ Edit.
  4. Run the flow and click the step to see the records it received and produced.
