Filter

Keeps only the records that match a condition and drops the rest.

When to use it

Only some records matter downstream, such as open tickets or orders above an amount.
You want to remove irrelevant records early so later steps do less work.

Example

Keep only tickets whose status equals open before creating tasks in Jira.

How it works

Settings: Condition: Field, Operator, Value (see Conditions).
Output: The matching records, unchanged.
Example: Field status, equals, open.

Add it to a flow

Open the flow from Build › Workflows.
Open Nodes and find Filter under Logic, or search for it. Click it or drag it onto the canvas.
Drag from the previous step's output handle to its input, then open its settings with ✎ Edit.
Run the flow and click the step to see the records it received and produced.
