- A report, file or later step needs records in a specific order.
- Together with Keep first N, it gives you a top ten.

Example
Sort customers by revenue, descending, then keep the first ten for the weekly leaderboard.
How it works
- Settings
- Field to sort by; Order: Ascending (A → Z, 0 → 9) [default] or Descending.
- Output
- The same records, reordered. Numbers (and numeric text) sort numerically; missing and empty values come first when ascending. Records with equal values keep their order.
Add it to a flow
- Open the flow from Build › Workflows.
- Open Nodes and find Sort under Logic, or search for it. Click it or drag it onto the canvas.
- Drag from the previous step's output handle to its input, then open its settings with ✎ Edit.
- Run the flow and click the step to see the records it received and produced.
