Connect BullMQ

  1. In Neblex open Connect › Connections and click New Connection.
  2. Search for BullMQ and give the connection a clear name.
  3. Fill in the fields. Secret values are encrypted and never shown again.
  4. Click Test, then Create Connection.
If the system is only reachable inside your network, choose an On-Prem Worker under Test from and run the flow on that Worker. See On-Prem Workers.
FieldWhat to enter
Connection setupRequired
HostRequired
PortOptionalExample: 6379
Database numberOptional
UsernameOptional
PasswordOptionalSecret
Use TLSOptionalTurning this off sends traffic and credentials without transport encryption. Use plaintext only for a customer-controlled endpoint that explicitly requires it.
Connection stringRequiredSecretPaste a redis:// or rediss:// connection string.

Use it in a flow

  1. Open a flow, open the node library and search for BullMQ.
  2. Drag it onto the canvas and choose an Operation and your connection.
  3. Map the operation's fields from earlier steps, or click Map with Matt.
  4. Use Test this step to see what it returns, then save.

To start a flow from BullMQ without a ready-made trigger: a Live stream trigger with BullMQ as the stream source starts a run for each message as it arrives (see Streaming triggers).

Operations

57 operations in 14 groups. Each one is a step you can add to a flow.

Connection1
Test the connectionpingConnect through the guarded Redis transport, load BullMQ's commands, and complete a PING round trip.
Jobs · Create2
Add a jobaddAdd one BullMQ job with the complete official job-options model.
Add jobs in bulkadd_bulkAdd up to 1000 jobs with per-job data and complete options.
Jobs · Data2
Update job dataupdate_job_dataReplace one job's JSON data and emit the vendor-compatible update.
Update job progressupdate_job_progressUpdate numeric or JSON progress and emit a progress event.
Jobs · Dependencies3
Count dependenciesget_dependencies_countReturn processed, unprocessed, ignored, and failed child counts.
Get dependenciesget_dependenciesScan a bounded page of processed and unprocessed child dependencies.
Remove child dependencyremove_child_dependencyAtomically detach a child from its fully qualified parent key.
Jobs · Lifecycle6
Change job delaychange_job_delayChange the delay of a delayed job.
Change job prioritychange_job_priorityChange priority and same-priority ordering for a waiting job.

Get a jobget_jobReturn one complete BullMQ job record by ID.
Get all job countsget_job_countsReturn counts for every queue state.
Get counts by priorityget_counts_per_priorityReturn counts for the requested priority values.
Get counts by stateget_job_counts_by_typesReturn counts for selected states; an empty list means every state.
