Volume and Tier Pricing
Quantity breaks and qualifier-scoped pricing rules apply automatically, stackable or exclusive, in a priority order that admins control.
The problem
Volume pricing maintained in spreadsheets means every large quote starts with a lookup and ends with a debate. Reps apply the wrong tier, or stack discounts that were never meant to combine. Admins have no single place to define which incentives combine and which stand alone.
How it works in Neblex CPQ
Pricing rules in Neblex CPQ carry qualifiers and volume breaks. Qualifiers scope a rule so it applies only when the quote or line matches the conditions you define, and volume breaks step the adjustment as quantity grows. Once defined, the rules apply automatically on every quote.
Every rule is marked stackable or exclusive, and rules evaluate in a priority order that admins control. That turns discount stacking from a rep decision into a policy: combinations you allow combine, and exclusive rules stand alone. The per-line price waterfall shows each rule that applied and what it changed.
Margin floors remain enforced during pricing, so aggressive tiers cannot cut below the minimum on the price list. Request a demo to model your own tier structure and watch the waterfall on a live quote.

Common questions
How are conflicts between rules resolved?
Rules evaluate in a priority order that admins set, and each rule is marked stackable or exclusive. An exclusive rule applies alone, while stackable rules combine in priority order.
Can we see which tier a line landed in?
Yes. The per-line price waterfall shows every adjustment between list price and net price, including which pricing rules applied. Any line is auditable without recalculating by hand.
Do volume rules respect margin floors?
Yes. Margin floors on price lists are enforced during pricing, so a volume break cannot take a line below the floor. Deals that need to go lower can route through expression-triggered approvals.

Customer-Specific Price Lists
Negotiated prices resolve automatically on every quote through priority-ranked customer price lists, each with its own currency and enforced margin floors.
PricingDiscount Codes and Campaigns
Campaign codes apply at quote or line level with usage caps, validity windows, and minimum order values, and cannot stack with manual discounts at that level.
PricingMargin Protection
Cost and margin are visible per line and per quote, floors enforce a minimum during pricing, and low-margin deals route to approval automatically.
