Branded Quote Documents
Build branded, localized quote PDFs with a drag-and-drop template builder, a shared document library, and per-quote output settings.
The problem
Quote documents assembled by hand in word processors drift off brand, consume time sales should spend selling, and often expose internal data such as cost or margin to the wrong audience. Localizing those documents for each market multiplies the effort. The result is slow turnaround and inconsistent output on the one document every buyer actually reads.
How it works in Neblex CPQ
Neblex CPQ generates quote documents from templates you assemble in a drag-and-drop builder. The builder offers text, line item, table, image, label and value, tax and totals, page break, signature, and document slot blocks, so you compose the exact layout your brand requires. The bill of materials can be printed directly on the document when the buyer needs to see it.
Templates live in a document library with language variants, and a translation service produces localized output. The rest of the experience is localized end to end as well: UI, validation, documents, and emails ship in English and German.
Output settings are controlled per quote. Show or hide tax, totals, discounts, margin, cost, and the logo, switch orientation, and pick the language, all without touching the template. Sales sends a document tailored to the recipient while the template stays canonical.
Step by step
Design the template
Assemble the layout in the drag-and-drop builder from text, line item, table, image, label and value, and tax and totals blocks, with page breaks where you need them.
Add signature and slots
Place signature blocks where signers will sign and document slots where supporting content belongs.
Localize the library
Store templates in the document library with language variants and use the translation service for localized output.
Tune per-quote output
Decide per quote whether tax, totals, discounts, margin, cost, and the logo appear, and set orientation and language.
Print the BOM
Include the bill of materials on the document when the buyer needs line-level detail.
Deliver the PDF
Generate the branded PDF and share it from the quote, with files attached to the record.

Common questions
Can we hide cost and margin on customer documents?
Yes. Output settings are per quote, so you can show or hide tax, totals, discounts, margin, cost, and the logo for each document you generate. Orientation and language are set the same way.
How does localization work for documents?
The document library holds language variants of each template, and a translation service produces localized output. UI, validation, documents, and emails are localized end to end in English and German.
Which blocks can a template contain?
The builder offers text, line items, tables, images, label and value pairs, tax and totals blocks, page breaks, signature blocks, and document slots. The bill of materials can also be printed on the document.
