E-Signature with DocuSign
Send quotes for signature through DocuSign with signer routing order, live envelope status on the quote, and signed documents stored back on the record.
The problem
Printing, mailing, or juggling a separate e-signature tool adds days to closing and leaves the quote record blind to what happened after send. Sales cannot see whether the buyer received the envelope, and signed copies end up scattered across inboxes.
How it works in Neblex CPQ
Neblex CPQ sends quotes for signature through DocuSign directly from the quote. Signature blocks are placed in the document template, so the envelope always carries the current branded document, and signer routing order controls who signs first.
Envelope status is tracked on the quote from created through sent, delivered, and completed, or declined and voided when a deal changes course. You can refresh status, resend, or void an envelope without leaving the record, and download the signed documents back onto the quote when signing completes.
Because signature lives inside the quote lifecycle, stages with expression-gated transitions can hold a quote until the right conditions are met. The audit log records what happened along the way, so the path from sent to signed is reconstructable.
Step by step
Place signature blocks
Add signature blocks to the document template so every generated document knows where each party signs.
Set the routing order
Send the envelope with a signer routing order that controls the sequence in which recipients sign.
Track envelope status
Follow the envelope from created through sent, delivered, and completed, or declined and voided, with status refresh on demand.
Void and resend
When the deal changes, void the envelope, revise the quote, and send again.
Store signed documents
Download the completed, signed documents and keep them attached to the quote record.

Common questions
Which envelope statuses does the quote show?
Status is tracked from created through sent, delivered, and completed, and also covers declined and voided envelopes. You can refresh the status from DocuSign at any time.
What happens if the quote changes after sending?
Void the envelope, update the quote, and resend. Revision snapshots on the quote preserve what was originally sent.
Where do the signed documents go?
Completed envelopes can be downloaded, and the signed documents are stored as files attached to the quote. The record keeps the signed paperwork next to the numbers it covers.
